Nigeria’s rich folklore and cultural heritage will take centre stage as the Igbalode Folklore Festival (IFF) 2026 brings together music, storytelling, dance and other vibrant expressions of African culture.

The festival, billed as a landmark celebration of African heritage, folklore and cultural excellence, is designed to showcase the depth and diversity of Nigeria’s indigenous traditions while creating a platform for Nigerian folklore to gain greater visibility on the global stage.

Adding star power to the celebration are an impressive line-up of artistes and cultural performers, including Yinka Davies, Chief Yemi Remi, Adunni Nefertiti, Ajani Akewi, Mawuyon Ogun, Senwele Wura, Bobo Sax, JStanley, Ogene_Orientertainment 16 Crew, also known as the Celebrity Ogene Men, and MC Okikiwonder, among others.

The gathering promises a colourful fusion of traditional music, contemporary performance, folklore, storytelling and dance, offering audiences an opportunity to experience Nigeria’s cultural wealth in an atmosphere designed for both celebration and cultural preservation.
